We are currently recruiting for a Technical Team Lead (R&D) for a client based in Galway, are you looking to embark on a leadership role within R&D, steering analytical teams for both Medical and Veterinary applications? Reporting directly to the Director of R&D, this pivotal position involves dynamic responsibilities calling for a unique blend of competencies and qualifications.

 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Provide adept technical support to both Medical and Veterinary R&D analytical teams.
  • Spearhead daily planning and HPLC allotments for seamless operations.
  • Innovatively develop stability-indicating methods for pipeline products.
  • Champion analytical method validations, resolving related queries effectively.
  • Methodically review and approve various analytical documents, supporting registration efforts.
  • Address and troubleshoot lab issues, ensuring precision in data generation and documentation.
  • Conduct thorough testing of trial samples, API characterization, and stability assessments.
  • Oversee equipment calibration, ensuring compliance with GMP standards, and proactively address technical challenges.
  • Regularly report to the Manager on lab issues, adhering to the Director's directives.

  • Proficient in analytical method development and validation in line with ICH and GMP.
  • Hands-on expertise using HPLC/GC and empower software.
  • Thorough understanding of cGLP and cGMP requirements.
  • Strong organizational skills, coupled with effective time management and communication abilities.
  • Proven capacity to build relationships and collaborate seamlessly.
  • Demonstrated alignment with organizational values, initiatives, and culture.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a Science Discipline or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience within the pharmaceutical industry, specializing in analytical functions.
  • In-depth knowledge of empower/GMP/GLP.
  • Robust time management and organizational capabilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
