Senior Manufacturing Engineer – Medical Devices

Key Responsibilities
- Lead manufacturing projects focused on developing, optimising, and validating production processes.
- Provide day-to-day engineering support to ensure smooth and efficient production operations.
- Collaborate with Operations, Quality, and R&D teams to resolve product, process, and equipment issues.
- Support the design and implementation of robust, scalable manufacturing processes and procedures.
- Select, install, and maintain production equipment, ensuring all machinery performs as required.
- Execute process validations (IQ, OQ, PQ) in line with quality management system (QMS) requirements.
- Apply lean principles, Six Sigma, SPC, and data analysis to drive process improvements and cost reductions.
- Contribute to commercial readiness and support scale-up activities with a focus on reducing cost of goods.

What We’re Looking For
- Level 8 degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role within the medical device industry.
- Strong knowledge of process controls, validation, and quality systems in a regulated environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the confidence to liaise with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- A proactive self-starter with solid technical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong organisational and project management abilities with a flexible, team-oriented approach.
