My client is currently looking for a Senior Quality Systems Engineer based in their plant in Galway, the West of Ireland.
Role Overview
● Coordination of each function in order to set up and maintain a Quality System in accordance with Automotive industry standards ISO, IATF, AIAG, VDA, ASPICE
● Training & certification of internal auditors to the VAQ2102 standard.
Responsibilities
● Responsible to coordinate the creation and the maintenance of the PL(Product Line) Quality System with regards IATF 16949 requirements
● Organize Quality System Audits in accordance with the Audit schedule
● Ensure readiness to ISO, IATF, VDA, customer (re-)certification audits and accordingly perform adequate pre-audits
● Perform any other internal audits (Process audits – project audits, StEDE…) allowing to detect and highlight discrepancies vs. the standard
● Prepare the Quality System Management review – providing deployment status to the management staff
● Audit the V5000(Valeo Standards) self-assessment for Total Quality axe
● Train people on process audit and certify them as assistant PQA auditors and train internal ISO/TS auditors.
● Ensure Internal Procedure/Policy are in line with Customer and Automotive industry requirement
● Monitor conformance by audit, as Management representative
● Coordinate IMS Activity
● Perform Quality reporting (Reliability, coherence, transparency)
● Organize self-assessments & pre-audits for customer audits (MMOG, Supplier Health Check, QSB+ etc.)
● Support the coordination of the Systemic Recovery Plan
● Ensure that the customer portals can be accessed for each customer which has a supplier portal, and that monthly reviews of the Customer Specific Requirements (CSR) are done, and any changes in the CSR is communicated to project & operational team members.
Qualifications
● 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar Quality systems role.
● Third Level Qualification or equivalent in quality systems administration area.
● Qualified Lead Auditor desirable.
