An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join a leading global technology organisation.

You'll play an important role in developing scalable, reliable solutions while collaborating with talented engineers on innovative projects with a global impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain and optimise secure CI/CD pipelines, supporting migration to AWS.
- Improve automation, security and efficiency across DevOps environments.
- Collaborate with Software Development, IT Security and Cloud Support teams.
- Support the implementation of secure software development practices (DevSecOps).
- Assist with cloud infrastructure modernisation using microservices and container technologies.
- Monitor security scans, identify vulnerabilities and support continuous improvement.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems.
- Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and internal policies.
Requirements
- Degree or Master's qualification in Data Science, Mathematics, Physics or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years' professional experience in DevOps or software engineering environments.
- Strong experience with AWS, CI/CD pipelines and cloud monitoring tools.
- Proficiency with DevOps tools including Jenkins, Nexus, Bitbucket and Jira.
- Experience working across Linux, macOS and Windows operating systems.
- Programming knowledge across languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, C#, C or SQL.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate across technical teams and demonstrate strong leadership skills.
Desirable Experience
- Containerisation technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet or Chef.
- Familiarity with security and compliance standards including ISO 27001, NIST and GDPR.
