    Sales Administrator - Galway

    At AMF Consulting, we are delighted to partner with a values-driven organisation to recruit a highly proactive Sales Administrator to join a busy Internal Sales team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and who takes pride in providing strong administrative and sales support.

    This role plays a key part in supporting the External Sales team and involves building strong relationships with customers, handling enquiries, and ensuring sales processes run smoothly from order to after-sales support.

     

    Key Duties & Responsibilities

    • Processing sales orders and managing customer queries efficiently
    • Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers
    • Demonstrating a positive, can-do attitude when dealing with sales enquiries and orders
    • Providing general sales administration support, including quotations and sales order entry via an ERP system
    • Acting as a key point of contact for after-sales and customer service support, liaising with External Sales and Quality teams as required
    • Supporting the External Sales team with hands-on, day-to-day assistance
    • Communicating market feedback and customer insights to the Sales, Marketing, and Management teams
    • Assisting in the preparation of sales reports
    • Supporting marketing campaigns to enhance brand awareness and business development
    • Attending sales meetings, conferences, trade exhibitions, and open days as required

    Desired Skills & Experience

    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a busy sales administration or similar environment
    • Experience working within a sales-focused organisation is desirable
    • Confident dealing with customers over the phone with a strong customer service mindset
    • A strong team player who can also work effectively on their own initiative
    • Experience using ERP and CRM systems, with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
    • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
    • Strong time management and task prioritisation skills
    • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
    • Knowledge of the Agriculture, Equine, and/or Civils sectors would be an advantage, though not essential
