My client is currently seeking a dynamic Sales Administrator to join our Internal Sales team located in Galway. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting my clients external sales team by leveraging exceptional administration and organizational skills. This position involves engaging with customers, necessitating a polished telephone manner and a dedicated customer service focus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process sales orders and efficiently address customer inquiries.
- Foster strong communication and relationship-building with customers.
- Maintain a positive, can-do attitude while handling orders and sales inquiries.
- Execute general sales administration tasks, including sales quotations and order entry through an ERP system.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for after-sales/customer service support, collaborating with the External Sales/Quality department.
- Act as a proactive team player, providing hands-on support for the External sales team.
- Effectively communicate market findings and customer insights to the Sales/Marketing Team and management.
- Contribute to the compilation of sales reports.
- Assist in marketing campaigns to enhance brand awareness and support business development.
- Attend sales meetings, conferences, trade exhibitions, and open days as required.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a busy administrative environment is essential.
- Previous experience in a sales environment is desirable.
- Proficient in dealing with customers over the phone.
- Strong team player with the ability to work independently.
- Experience with ERP and CRM systems, along with proficiency in the Microsoft suite.
- Highly collaborative, organized, detail-oriented, with excellent multitasking abilities.
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in English (verbal and written).
