AMFConsulting is currently recruiting for a Project Supervisor (Civils) for a key project in Galway City. Reporting to the Project Manager, the successful candidate will supervise site operations and coordinate teams to ensure the project is delivered safely, on schedule and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities

Supervise daily site activities and coordinate civil engineering teams and contractors.

Allocate tasks and ensure efficient use of labour, materials and equipment.

Monitor project progress to ensure delivery within scope, timeline and budget.

Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality and safety standards.

Liaise with the Project Manager and subcontractors regarding progress and site issues.

Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used and hours worked.

Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental and quality requirements.

Carry out quality checks and address any issues through corrective actions.
Candidate Requirements

Qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.

Previous experience in civil engineering projects with onsite team supervision.

Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.

Excellent knowledge of health and safety practices.

Strong IT skills, ideally with project management software.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines.
