Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end execution of multiple projects, ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence, and achievement of milestones.
- Lead cross-functional teams in planning, developing, and implementing product development and engineering initiatives.
- Establish and track project Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and ensure compliance with agreed customer requirements.
- Regularly update project forecasts, budgets, and schedules while maintaining accurate financial tracking.
- Prepare detailed project plans, reports, and status updates for stakeholders, clients, and senior management.
- Identify risks and issues, implement resolutions, and manage scope changes effectively.
- Drive improvements in project management processes and tools, fostering best practice sharing across teams.
- Support commercial teams in evaluating new opportunities and developing quotes.
- Mentor and train team members, providing guidance and professional development support.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field (Master’s degree or PMP certification preferred).
Experience:
- 7+ years of experience, including 4+ years in a regulated product environment (e.g., medical devices, pharmaceuticals, automotive, or aerospace) and 3+ years in project management.
Skills:
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and coach team members.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and conflict resolution abilities.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as FDA, ISO, and design control standards.
- Experience with manufacturing processes for components, subassemblies, or finished devices.
