Based in Galway, my client is currently looking for an experienced office manager, to look after a team of two experienced Financial/Admin personnel and ensure the smooth running of the office and support the financial functions of the operations. Hybrid option of 4 days on site and 1 day at home per week.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage daily office operations, ensuring a well-organized and efficient working environment.
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate office supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships to maintain facilities.
- Maintain and improve office policies, procedures, and workflows to enhance efficiency.
- Oversee HR administrative tasks, including employee records management and onboarding.
- Handle payroll processing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable tasks.
- Maintain accurate financial records and collaborate with external accountants for reporting and compliance.
- Monitor budgets and expenses, identifying opportunities for cost savings.
- Support general administrative duties as required to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in office management or a similar role, with a strong ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Basic financial knowledge, including experience with accounting software like Sage or QuickBooks.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
- High attention to detail, particularly in administrative and financial tasks.
- Confidence in managing and supporting team members.
