My clients R&D division is seeking talented individuals to join their multidisciplinary project team. This is an exceptional opportunity to work in a high-growth industry, developing cutting-edge products.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Innovate and contribute to new product development within our Evolution R&D team.
- Bring ideas to life by building prototypes and conducting thorough laboratory and field testing.
- Utilize your expertise in CAD software (CREO, Solidworks, or similar) to create accurate models and detailed drawings for manufacturing.
- Prepare comprehensive reports that analyze and present testing results.
- Collaborate closely with electronics and software disciplines to integrate control systems seamlessly.
- Drive concept development throughout the entire mechanical design process.
- Conduct and actively participate in technical design reviews.
- Manage development schedules and ensure adherence to project timelines.
- Document designs and specifications in compliance with ISO 9001 QMS standards.
- Perform any additional duties as directed by the Engineering Team Lead.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant industrial experience in a design environment.
- Proficient in 3D CAD software such as CREO, Solidworks, or similar.
- Strong understanding of design for manufacture principles.
- Experience in conducting DFMEA's and implementing risk management techniques is highly advantageous.
- Collaborative team player with a strong commitment to achieving results.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in root cause analysis methodologies.
- Project management experience is desirable.
- Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment is advantageous.
- Valid driver's license.
