AMF Consulting is partnering with a leading national electrical contracting and consultancy organisation to recruit a Project Manager to oversee electrical maintenance operations across the Connacht region.
Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, this role will manage maintenance works from initiation through to completion, ensuring all works are delivered safely, on time, within budget and in full compliance with local authority contracts. The Project Manager will lead operational teams, manage KPIs, engage directly with local authority representatives and oversee Taken In Charge (TIC) projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate maintenance works and weekly schedules
- Liaise with clients and complete pre-construction site surveys
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards
- Identify and manage project risks, budgets and resources
- Lead, develop and performance-manage operational teams
- Monitor KPIs including fault resolution, productivity and open tickets
- Maintain accurate records and reporting across project systems
- Manage project close-out, certification and final measures
Requirements
- Level 8 Degree in Electrical, Project Management, Energy or Mechanical Engineering
- Level 6 Electrical Craft Certificate required
- PMP, PSCS and electrical certifications desirable
- 5+ years’ experience managing electrical projects
- Experience in RECI Testing and Verification
- Background in public lighting, utilities or infrastructure projects desirable
