AMF Consulting is currently supporting a well-established business in the recruitment of an Internal Sales Administrator to join their team in Co. Galway.
Brief Overview
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and organised administrator who enjoys working in a busy, customer-focused sales environment. The successful candidate will provide day-to-day support to the external sales team while acting as a key point of contact for customers.
The role will involve processing orders, handling sales enquiries, preparing quotations and providing after-sales support. Strong communication skills, attention to detail and a positive, can-do approach will be key to succeeding in this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Process customer sales orders and respond to queries in a professional and timely manner.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
- Handle incoming sales enquiries and provide excellent customer service.
- Prepare sales quotations and enter sales orders using the company ERP system.
- Act as a key point of contact for after-sales and customer service support.
- Liaise with the external sales and quality teams to resolve customer requirements.
- Provide hands-on administrative support to the external sales team.
- Communicate customer feedback, market information and insights to the Sales and Marketing teams.
- Assist with the preparation and compilation of sales reports.
- Support marketing campaigns, brand awareness and business development activities.
- Attend sales meetings, conferences, trade exhibitions and open days when required.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a busy sales administration or similar administrative role.
- Previous experience within a sales environment is desirable.
- Experience dealing directly with customers by phone.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Experience using ERP and CRM systems.
- Proficient across Microsoft Office applications.
- Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong time management and task prioritisation abilities.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and on your own initiative.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of the agriculture, equine and/or civils sectors would be advantageous but is not essential.
