Our client, a leading player in the energy sector with a strong commitment to sustainability, is currently seeking a dynamic Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality Officer to join their team. Based in Mayo, my client is looking for someone with the follow experience:
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain risk assessments, policies, procedures, accreditations, and audit schedules.
- Fulfill PSDP & PSCS role duties, implement rapid recovery and corrective actions as needed.
- Provide expert advice on Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality matters to management and staff across all offices/sites nationwide.
- Conduct workplace health and safety training, meetings, and initiatives.
- Perform regular safety audits throughout the company and attend client safety audits and meetings.
- Manage and control the Quality Management System (ISO9001), Environmental Management System (ISO14001), and Occupational Health and Safety Management System (ISO 45001) accreditations.
- Conduct new employee Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality inductions and maintain employee training records.
- Support in the preparation of Suitability Assessment Questionnaires (SAQs), QW2 Forms, QW3 Forms, PSDP & PSCS Assessment Forms for Large Tenders.
- Maintain and assess sub-contractor insurances, safety statements, and method statements.
Requirements:
- Degree qualification in Occupational Health, Safety, and Welfare at Work.
- 2+ years of experience as a HSEQ officer in the construction/engineering/civils industry.
- Experience working to ESBN work requirements (beneficial, but full training provided).
- Manual Handling Instructor certification (desirable).
- Full clean driving license.
