We are delighted to be supporting our client in the search for a dynamic Head of Sales, a pivotal leadership role within the senior management team. Reporting to the Business Development Director, this role offers the chance to shape and execute sales strategies across Construction, Agri, and Material Handling business units in multiple territories.

Key Responsibilities

Inspire and lead Sales Managers and teams through mentoring, coaching, and performance management

Oversee recruitment, training, and professional development of sales staff

Design and implement sales strategies, including route-to-market optimisation

Lead forecasting, budgeting, planning, and performance reporting

Strengthen sales operations and processes, including CRM optimisation and pipeline management

Manage key accounts and drive contract/tender negotiations

Develop pricing strategies to support sustainable margin growth

Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and customer insights to inform strategy
-
Expand business through new customers, products, and territories

Represent the company at trade exhibitions, conferences, and industry events

Build brand visibility through value proposition marketing, promotions, and lead-generation campaigns

Manage stakeholders effectively while ensuring compliance with company policies
Skills & Experience

7+ years’ sales/marketing experience with a strong record of achievement
-
5+ years’ international (preferably omni-channel) sales management experience
-
Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and resolve conflict
-
Experience in Construction and/or Agri markets an advantage
-
Degree in Business or a related discipline

Results-driven mindset with advanced negotiation, decision-making, and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (German or French a plus)
