Based in the West of Ireland, my client looking for and Engineering Lead to join their global pharmaceutical team dedicated to delivering high-quality products. Reporting to the Director of Engineering & Facilities, the Engineering Lead will manage essential maintenance support for manufacturing and packaging equipment, ensuring compliance with GMP and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all engineering aspects at the facility.
- Supervise preventative maintenance activities and the team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address root causes.
- Develop methods to optimize equipment reliability and maximize OEE.
- Recommend cost-effective service support contracts.
- Maximize equipment availability and organize preventative maintenance shutdowns.
- Cultivate positive relationships with key stakeholders.
- Participate in regulatory audits.
Qualifications & Competencies:
- Minimum BS/BEng in Engineering or Managerial Discipline.
- 5+ years' experience in engineering management.
- Desirable experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing and/or biotechnology.
- Strong technical knowledge of equipment reliability engineering.
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical engineering compliance standards.
- Ability to build collaborative relationships.
- Demonstrated leadership aligned with organizational values.
