AMF Consulting is partnering with a leading organisation in a high-growth sector to recruit an experienced Electronic Design Engineer to join their Electronics and Software team.
This role offers the opportunity to design and develop innovative electronic hardware solutions while working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop digital circuits and embedded hardware systems
- Work with microcontrollers, power management, and communication protocols (RS232, CAN, Ethernet, SPI, I2C)
- Create schematics using ECAD tools and support PCB layout
- Conduct hardware testing, validation, and debugging (EMC/EMI, functional testing)
- Support component selection, ECOs, and supplier changes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware into full systems
- Support prototyping, testing, and transition to manufacturing
- Ensure compliance with safety and industry standards
Requirements
- Degree in Electronic Engineering or related field
- 3 to 7 years’ experience in hardware design
- Strong knowledge of embedded systems and electronics fundamentals
- Experience with testing, debugging, and ECAD tools
- Understanding of EMC/EMI standards
- Strong problem-solving skills and team collaboration
