This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified electrical professional to join a well-established organisation delivering infrastructure projects across Ireland. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will oversee site operations, coordinate teams and subcontractors, and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise electrical site teams and subcontractors across multiple live projects.
- Coordinate daily site activities, labour, materials, plant and equipment with the Project Manager.
- Carry out pre-construction site visits, surveys and site readiness checks.
- Ensure all works are completed in line with project specifications, quality standards and programme requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and resolve on-site issues as they arise.
- Liaise with clients, contractors and stakeholders to coordinate project delivery.
- Complete site inspections, cable measurements, walkdowns and progress checks.
- Maintain accurate site records, testing documentation and project handover information.
- Ensure all electrical installations are fully tested, inspected and documented.
- Promote and maintain the highest standards of Health & Safety on site.
- Lead by example, supporting a positive team culture and high-performance environment.
Requirements
- FETAC Level 6 Electrical Trade Qualification.
- QC Testing & Inspection qualification.
- First Aid certification.
- IOSH Managing Safely.
- Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification.
- IPAF/MEWP, LUGS, Abrasive Wheels and SSSTS certifications are advantageous.
- Previous experience supervising electrical site teams.
- Experience within Public Lighting or similar electrical infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of LV electrical systems, testing, troubleshooting and electrical drawings.
- Excellent planning, organisational and communication skills.
- Competent using computer-based systems and project documentation.
- Strong commitment to safety, quality and delivering projects on schedule.
