The Role:
As an Electrical Design Engineer reporting directly to the Electrical/Controls Lead Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing innovative solutions for multinational clients. Responsibilities include developing new electrical designs, evaluating customer specifications, selecting components, ensuring safety compliance, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to project meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop innovative electrical designs and concepts.
- Evaluate customer specifications.
- Select appropriate components and materials.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for integrated solutions.
- Perform electrical testing and troubleshooting.
- Set up and commission machines post-power-up.
- Provide technical support to estimation, procurement, commercial, and project bid teams.
- Contribute insights to project meetings and offer regular progress reports.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Third-level qualification in electrical/electronic engineering or a related discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in electrical design or relevant exposure to electrical systems.
- Working knowledge of CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SOLIDWORKS ELECTRICAL) is advantageous.
- Proactive with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of safety standards and regulations.
