    Business Development Manager - Dublin

    Are you a driven sales professional ready to take the next step in your career? Our client a leading player in the building and construction sector is seeking a Business Development Manager to join their high-performing team in Dublin/Leinster. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a strong portfolio of existing accounts while driving growth through strategic new business development.

    What You’ll Be Doing

    As Business Development Manager, you’ll play a critical role in managing and growing a client base across key sectors. You’ll act as the primary point of contact for your customers, developing tailored account strategies that deliver value and long-term partnerships.

    You will:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships across a portfolio of existing and new accounts.

    • Develop and execute customer strategies to drive revenue and market share.

    • Identify and convert new business opportunities through a mix of prospecting methods – including phone outreach, face-to-face meetings, and leveraging existing relationships.

    • Collaborate closely with senior leadership to ensure offerings align with market needs and growth targets.

    • Take full ownership of sales activity in your region, including pipeline development, forecasting, and closing.

    • Use your industry knowledge to offer value-added solutions and services that align with client goals.

    What We’re Looking For

    The ideal candidate will be a commercially focused, strategic thinker with a background in solution-based sales and a passion for the construction or B2B environment.

    You’ll bring:

    • Proven experience in sales or business development, ideally with exposure to construction projects or related industries.

    • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly and influence decision-makers.

    • A proactive, results-driven approach with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

    • Strong numerical and analytical skills – comfortable working with data to support commercial decisions.

    • A good understanding of Irish construction regulations and industry practices is highly desirable.
